Wild Wonders Nature Retreat for Kids! Drop off Event

Wild Wonders Day Retreat for kids aged 3-10.

The purpose for this retreat is to connect kids with nature and their natural instincts to be one with the world around them. Our goal is to create a level of appreciation, wonder and love for eachother and the simple beauty nature provides.

Date: Saturday August 24th, 2024

Time: 8:30am-12:30pm

Location: Located neatly in the woods of Nisswa is 6 acres designed specifically to enhance a child’s connection to nature. With a large variety of trees, plant life, gardens and trails, kids will have the opportunity to explore and be inspired by the outdoors. At the home of our local herbalist, and naturopathic practitioner, Monica.

Activities Included:

•Free Play

•Forest Bathing+Nature Exploration Walk-children will enjoy a guided walk listening, exploring and enjoying the sounds of nature!

•Whole Foods Plant Based Snack and Lunch. If you would like to pack your child’s snack and lunch, please feel free to do so! We ask that you let us know when you register.

•Interactive Smoothie Workshop+Identifying Fruits and Vegetables-children will help create a delicious and healthy smoothie snack! They will learn to identify fruits and vegetables as well as learn fun facts and health benefits!

•Art Therapy-with dirt and mud! Kids will get creative using natures paint!

•Among The Trees Dance Party

Your retreat hosts:

Jami Nelson- Jami is a certified Holistic Health Coach the owner of the Just Juice Co. She is well versed in the event experience space. Her passion is sharing the benefits of health and wellness through food, beverages and experiences! She loves creating incredible and memorable events that cultivate a sense of empowerment, connection and fun! Mama of 2!

Monica Rengel-Monica is mother of four who is passionate about all things health and nature. Monica has a degree in elementary education and utilizes it teaching her children at home. She has multiple certifications in holistic health and loves to share her knowledge of healing and growing with others.

*pick up is at 12:30 sharp. Parents will be charged $15 per minute after 12:30.

*parents will sign a liability waiver upon drop off

*please dress your child in comfortable and easy to move in clothing.

*please pack a filled water bottle and a back up outfit in a bag labeled with your child’s names.

*please let us know ahead of time if there are any dietary restrictions or of any other helpful information to ensure a successful and enjoyable event for you child.
